Register for H1N1 vaccine
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has begun distributing the H1N1 vaccine. As the vaccine is received by the Wilce Student Health Center, students who have registered with Ohio State University indicating they want to receive the vaccine will be notified via e-mail of available clinic times based upon priorities established by ODH.
To register with Ohio State University:
- Call (614) 514-4161
- Follow the prompts.
- You will need to have your 8-9 digit OSU ID number when registering. This is printed on BuckID cards generated in 2008 or later. If your BuckID card does not have your 8-9 digit OSU ID number, you can look this number up at:
- http://www.buckeyelink.osu.edu
- Scroll down to Personal Information
- Click "Lookup your OSU ID Number"
- Follow the prompts.
- You will need to have your 8-9 digit OSU ID number when registering. This is printed on BuckID cards generated in 2008 or later. If your BuckID card does not have your 8-9 digit OSU ID number, you can look this number up at:
- An e-mail will be sent confirming your registration.
When vaccine has been received and your priority group is selected by ODH, you will receive a second email informing you of available clinic dates and times. Follow the instructions in this email to sign-up for a clinic to receive the H1N1 vaccine.
The priority groups that have been established by ODH are:
- Pregnant women or caregivers for children under 6 months of age
- Healthcare workers, including health professional students
- 17 or younger with an underlying long-term health problem
- 24 or younger
- Between the ages of 25 and 64 with an underlying long-term health problem
- All others
